He is one of the fathers of contemporary gospel music in the world. And, the leadership of the Lagos Experience has been very fair to this great gospel music ambassador, by making sure Don hardly misses on the list of invited artistes every year.
Talk about the awards he has garnered, or his leadership role at Integrity Music, Don Moen has been consistent and very motivational!
This year, he came as usual in his calm and humble manner to the stage as the crowd welcomed him with a shout. He took the piano and began what we knew him well for: singing and gracefully handling the piano with such confidence of a master of the strings.
He sang songs from his available albums. "Crucified" was sang by his team, as the song took us back to ponder once again on the love of the Messiah-King, JESUS CHRIST the king of kings.
Don has always made it known that he loves visiting Nigeria, and he knows we have a place for him always on our hearts, and in our dear country.
Don took time to minister that night, until he gave us an highlight when he took the violin. He played the violin with his usual passion and precision, until we all clapped at the miracle of the violin, handled by one of the best hands...
We have never been tired of seeing Don Moen, or hearing his anointed songs. The leadership of the Lagos Experience knows that secret. We expect to see Don back at the Experience 2014 by GOD's grace, because in Don Moen, we have a veteran gospel minister who will always teach us that the ministry is for a life time!
