CHRISTMAS MORNING.
The mocking birds sing
On the snowy trees, and the trees
With handful of snow, like the
Amazement of Christmas gifts
On white mornings…
It’s the early morning of Christmas,
And the African harmattan sneak slowly
With the breeze…
The streets are lighted like diamonds
Hanging on the neighbors’ doors…
Jingle bells…jingle bells…the cathedral
Church bell rings her bells…
We are remembering Christ’s messiah
Gifts to men, and that morning He created
To see into God’s heaven…
We who with thanksgiving have seen
Another Christmas grace, should
With race share the love of Christmas morn,
As love opens the gate of the season’s joy….
